April Arts Marathon Participant: Cora Dandeneau
Mission: Serving up drawings, prints, and the occasional comic
Message: I like to make images that delight in the joy of a decadent visual experience. I’d like to make you smile.
They also happen to be relatively medium diverse. For the arts marathon, I am producing a range of work in the realm of ink/ pastel / paint stick drawings, etchings, relief prints, and fabric illustrations.
Photos will be sent out three days a week, via social media and an e-mail newsletter (with, hopefully, some musings from me attached). Expect deliveries Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
It is so terrifying to be alive and seeing the violence of our systems of power every day. If your heart is breaking, it just might be a sign that you’re paying attention. Thank you to everyone that has and continues to sponsor the program, the many people that work to make CASP run, and all asylum-seekers and greater immigrant communities that make this area what it is. We stand together! YOU (yes you) belong in the world we are making
Every donation directly supports CASP’s mission of cultivating a supportive community for asylum seekers in Southern Vermont. All proceeds will go towards fulfilling asylum seekers’ basic needs and accompanying them on their journey.
