What CASP Does
CASP is dedicated to welcoming and supporting asylum seekers in Southern Vermont, ensuring they have access to safety, stability, and the resources needed to rebuild their lives.
We assist individuals in applying for work permits, provide trainings to educate and inform, and navigating the asylum process.
This workshop video educates the community on immigration under the new administration, supporting asylum seekers and helping people understand and navigate risks.
There are two types of asylum, defensive and affirmative. The affirmative asylum process is before USCIS, and the defensive process is before the immigration court.
