CASP’s mission is “to provide basic needs and a supportive community for those in the process of seeking asylum in the U.S.”
Unlike refugees, asylum seekers are not permitted to work for a considerable period of time after they arrive. Those we host therefore depend on our financial support; we, in turn, depend on the creativity of our fundraisers and the generosity of our donors.
Have a fundraising idea?
We’d love to hear from you – write to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Organize a fundraiser?
Maybe you’d like to set your own fundraising idea into motion. Do contact the Fundraising Committee to find out about our guidelines.
One example of a simple-to-implement fundraiser: if you belong to an organization that’s sympathetic to CASP’s mission, you might ask that they call for individual donations to CASP as a surprise tribute to (or in memory of) some beloved member of the organization.
Create a Facebook fundraiser?
Instead of a birthday present, ask your friends to celebrate your birthday with a donation to CASP. To find out how, click here, and select Fundraisers for Charitable Organizations.
Donate while shopping?
While shopping at Amazon, click here to have a percentage of what you spend donated to CASP.
To make your own direct financial contribution, use the DONATE button in the sidebar. And consider becoming a sustaining supporter – check the box for a recurring monthly donation.
If you prefer sending a check, please make it payable to CASP and mail to:
PO Box 1355
Brattleboro, VT 05302-1355
If the business you work for matches employee charitable donations, be sure to notify them of your donations to CASP.
Share your RMD (Required Minimum Distribution)?
If the Minimum Required Distribution from your retirement account is an unneeded bonus to your regular income, consider sharing it with CASP!
Include CASP in your estate planning?
Let your concern about the treatment of asylum seekers in the U.S. outlive you!
